If you are feeling unwell, even if it has been confirmed that it is not Covid-19, please do not attend your fittings.

We would much rather reschedule your appoitment when all parties are well. Please be respectful and understand that this is our home as well as our work space, and regardless of Covid 19 we want to avoid ANY illness/virus where possible.

If you do attend a fitting, and April Bailey suspects that you are unwell, April reserves the right to turn you away upon arrival, or terminate any fitting and ask you to exit the property.

We will gladly reschedule any fittings, when you are feeling well and symptoms have gone away and the risk of transmission is reduced.

This is why Apil respectfully asks that all clients carry on wearing a face masks where possible.

In light of the evolving Coronavirus pandemic, and the increasing numbers of UK people affected, April Bailey Bespoke has implemented the following for all visitors to our Atelier to ensure the Health and Safety of April Bailey, her family, and clients.

What to expect when visiting us:

With immediate effect, anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms, including fever, is advised not to visit April Bailey Bespoke.

You must come to your appointment alone. If this is impossible, I would ask that you contact us in the first instance to avoid disappointment. We operate from a small room within the property and adhereing to the 2 metre social distancing rule is impossible when there are more than 2 people within the fitting room.

Fitting times will be limited to One Hour only. This means that your first fitting appointment will be strictly One Hour long from the moment you step in to the premises.  Please ensure that your turn up on time with your dress and shoes, as the fittings are now timed.

April Bailey has allocated a 30 minute cleaning window, to sanitise and clean down surfaces in preparation for the next client.

April Bailey will be wearing a face mask and disposable close fitting gloves for the duration of the appointment and the dress fitting. We ask that our customers wear a face mask for the duration of the appointment. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to express your feelings and any concerns you may have. These are unprecedented times, and we want to ensure that you are at ease as best as possible.

Whilst it is almost impossible to adhere to the 2m social distancing rule during the dress fitting, we must all do our best to respect each other for the safety and wellbeing of all.

Before visiting,  you are required to confirm the following, via questionnaire 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  1. That you are not displaying or have not previously displayed flu-like symptoms
  2. That you do not co-habit with anyone displaying flu-like symptoms or who has self-isolated
  3. That you have not placed yourself at risk of possible infection

All customers are expected to follow increased levels of hygiene:

  • Wear a face mask on entry to the property and for the duration of your fitting
  • Where possible carry and use anti bacterial hand sanitiser
  • Wash your hands on arrival and departure using antibacterial hand sanitiser
  • Avoid shaking hands and physical contact
  • Avoid touching any fixtures and fittings alternatively please wear disposable surgical gloves

On arrival – please arrive promptly at your appointed time and come alone so we can make the most of our time and avoid cross over of brides. On arrival you will be asked to use hand sanitiser. Meeting and greeting can be successfully achieved whilst observing social distancing.

Once you are welcomed in to the property you will be asked to put on your face mask and your gloves. If you do not own a face mask or gloves these are available to purchase from April Bailey Bespoke at a charge of £10.00 (£5.00 for the mask and £5.00 for the gloves).

You will be helped into your dress by April. You will then be asked to wear a full face shield, including your mask. April will be wearing the same, including gloves. The shield is charged at an additional £15.00 to wear for the duration of your fittings and covers the costs of wear during subsequent dress fittings that will follow. This charge is for renting the shield from April Bailey Bespoke whilst in your dress fittings. If you wish to purchase a face shield please ask.

Once the fitting has ended, you will be asked to remove your face shield into the bucket provided, keep your gloves and face mask on and exit the building.

These measures have been put in place by April Bailey to help prevent the spread of the virus and to keep us all safe and well.

Should you not adhere to these rules at all times, April Bailey reserves the right to cancel your appointment at any time, and you will be charged £20.00.
